યુધિષ્ઠિરે પણ આમ કીધેલ (2025)
શ્રીરામકૃષ્ણના ઉપદેશની સુવાસ જેમ જેમ ફેલાતી ગઈ તેમ તેમ તમામ વર્ગોના લોકોને એમના પ્રતિ આકર્ષણ થવા લાગ્યું. એક દિવસ પોતાની સંપત્તિ અને દાનવૃત્તિ માટે પ્રખ્યાત બનેલા કલકત્તાના મોટા જમીનદાર જતીન્દ્ર મોહન ઠાકુરની સાથે મુલાકાત થઈ. સૌના આગ્રહથી શ્રીરામકૃષ્ણે ઉપદેશના પ્રસંગમાં ત્યાગભાવના અને વિવેકબુદ્ધિની જરૂર ઉપર ખાસ ભાર મૂક્યો. એમણે કહ્યું: “તમે ભલે રાતદિવસ ઈશ્વરનું નામ લીધા કરો, પરંતુ જો તમારું મન દુન્યવી વિષયોમાં આસક્ત હશે તો તેનાથી કશું વળવાનું નથી.” એ સાંભળી જતીન્દ્ર મોહને કહ્યું કે શું સંસારી લોકોથી એવી રીતે અંત:કરણપૂર્વક ઈશ્વરને ભજવાનું બની શકે ખરું? યુધિષ્ઠિર જેવા પુણ્યાત્માને પણ અસત્ય બોલવું પડયું હતું.” આથી શ્રીરામકૃષ્ણ ચિડાઈને બોલ્યા: “અરે! યુધિષ્ઠિરના જીવનમાંથી તમને આટલું આ એક જ કૃત્ય યાદ રહી ગયું છે,એમની અડગ સત્યનિષ્ઠા, એમનાં અસંખ્ય સત્કૃત્યો, શાસ્ત્રોના ઉપદેશ તરફની એમની પૂજ્ય બુદ્ધિ, એ સઘળું તમે ભૂલી ગયા, ધૂળ પડી!”

સને ૧૮૮૪માં શ્રીરામકૃષ્ણે એ સ્થળની બીજી મુલાકાત લીધી હતી. એ વખતે ત્યાં મંડળીમાં વિજય, ત્રૈલોક્ય અને એક બ્રાહ્મસમાજી સબ-જજ હતા. ત્રૈલોક્યનાં ભજનો સાંભળીને શ્રીરામકૃષ્ણને વારંવાર સમાધિ થઈ જતી હતી. ત્યાં સબ-જજ સાથે નીચે પ્રમાણેનો રસભર્યો વાર્તાલાપ થયો હતો.
